Terms & Conditions

Version 3.0 · Effective 6 October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Before entering the financial workspace, you must explicitly accept the current Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. We record the versions and acceptance times. Browsing public pages or joining the waitlist does not accept these documents. If you do not agree, do not enter the workspace. The Service is operated by Cash Curve (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Service Description & Limitations

CashCurve AI is a household financial modelling tool that uses AI to help Australian families visualise, project, and compare financial scenarios. The Service is designed as a technical modelling tool only. The initial private beta is for Australian individuals and couples reviewing their own household finances, with ordinary bank, superannuation, property and share documents. Retired pension, trust, company and SMSF arrangements, professional client files and organisation portfolios are outside this intake. Joint ownership requires separate qualification with the founder.

3. No Financial Advice Disclaimer

The Service does not provide personal financial advice. All projections, calculations, and AI-generated outputs are for general information and modelling purposes only. They are based on the assumptions you provide and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice. We strongly recommend you consult a licensed financial professional before making major financial decisions.

4. AI Disclaimer

CashCurve AI uses artificial intelligence to parse documents, interpret inputs, and generate models. AI tools can make mistakes. Outputs may contain errors in data parsing, interpretation, or calculations. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. The Service uses Australian tax rules, superannuation systems, property data, and financial assumptions. It is designed for Australian residents. Users outside Australia may use the Service but acknowledge that calculations, projections, and AI-generated insights are based on Australian financial systems and may not be accurate for other jurisdictions.

6. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. A household account uses one login and may contain multiple profiles. Anyone using that login can access all household data. There are no separate partner invitations, permissions or independent access revocation. Upload only your own household material, with each affected adult aware of and authorising its processing. A profile does not establish that authority.

7. User Content & Licence

You retain ownership of all content you upload or input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and maintaining the Service, and to analyse content-free feature totals and technical diagnostics, and extract product feedback from recent saved chat to improve the Service. Configured background extraction can send recent messages, including financial or document discussion, to OpenAI. We retain structured feedback and related jobs, checkpoints, session/message fingerprints and reporter correlation. This is first-party product improvement, distinct from provider model training; it does not establish anonymous records or universal no-training controls. Effective execution, access, retention/deletion and historical handling require separate verification, as described in our Privacy Policy. Financial descriptions and amounts can identify people even when direct identifiers are encrypted. Authorised staff and the processors described in our Privacy Policy may access data to operate the Service; this is not a promise of staff blindness or anonymous financial records.

Before uploading, manually remove unnecessary tax file numbers, signatures, employer or client details and unrelated-person material. Preserve balances, dates and transactions needed for your intended modelling. There is no automatic redaction. The founder reviews document families, both-adult authority and minimisation before real onboarding; unsuitable material is deferred or handled through an agreed manual path. Do not send real qualification documents by email or chat.

7A. Document Retention & Auto-Deletion

Uploaded originals are removed from our active file storage within seven days of upload and may be removed sooner. You can upload a document again if needed. Extracted facts remain in your account after originals are removed. Reset clears active financial data and keeps your login and structured Settings backups, which contain no original uploaded files. Account deletion removes sign-in access and active account data, including Settings backups. File cleanup may still be finishing after you are signed out. Separate recovery-copy retention limits are described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: reverse engineering, distributing malware, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service (including software, design, and content) belong to Cash Curve. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, AI processing (including configured chat-derived product feedback), authentication, transactional delivery and necessary error monitoring. Optional external analytics is disabled in this prepared cohort candidate even with stored consent; local operation totals are separate, and historical provider copies require separate verification. A list of processor categories and data locations is available in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable.

11. Beta Disclaimer

The Service is currently in beta. Features, functionality, availability, and performance may change without notice. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access during the beta period.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (subject to the Australian Consumer Law), we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including any financial decisions made based on the Service's outputs.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cash Curve from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination & Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Financial access requires explicit acceptance of the current paired versions; existing admission and country declarations are preserved during reacceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
